Dr Quyen Trinh CHIROPRACTOR
Dr Quyen Trinh has been a Chiropractor since 2003, joined the Hawker Chiropractic team in 2007 and took over the clinic in 2021.
While finishing her Bachelor of Science at UNSW, she was accepted into an Honours program in conjunction with the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, undertaking cutting edge research into discovering novel genes involved with heart development. During a captivating and fulfilling year immersed in scientific research, a chance encounter saw her research take a back seat when introduced to Chiropractic from which she never turned back. After a gruelling total of seven years as a “professional student” Dr Quyen graduated from Macquarie University in 2003 with her Masters of Chiropractic.
Dr Quyen is passionate about empowering her patients to take control of their health and enabling them to reach their optimal potential through the removal of restrictions, whether biomechanical, mental, or physiological.
Dr Quyen understands that the feet are the foundation of the spine, and that good posture, alignment and vitality starts from the feet, because “the foot bone’s connected to the head bone” or so Dr Knickerbocker tells us…
Growing up with a (seriously) large extended family, Dr Quyen has a unique gift for connecting with people of all ages, from those just learning to walk, through to those who might moan and groan every step (yes you grandma).
Having experienced the highs and lows of pregnancy, raising and guiding three rambunctious bundles of energy through the challenges of learning to walk to navigating the realms of teenage-dom, Dr Quyen has a passion for advocating and educating women through their pregnancy, birth and beyond.
In her spare time Dr Quyen loves spending time with her husband and children, cooking, hiking the native Canberra bushland, crafting, and a few board games here and there, Cluedo anyone?
Dr Quyen is a champion of the Chiropractic philosophy and the body’s innate ability to heal itself through balance of the mind, body and spirit.
